OVERVIEW OF POST                

The role of Project Support Worker is a wide-ranging role. The post requires a hands-on approach, ensuring that the work of the Community & Outreach team functions smoothly.


The Project Support Worker will:

  • work within the Community and Outreach Team, as part of the Empowerment Group Service, to provide a high-quality frontline service to survivors of domestic abuse across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
  • support survivors of domestic abuse by providing high-quality administrative support, to the Empowerment Group service, including, client initial contacts, welfare checks and managing waiting lists


Due to the nature of the role this post is open to women only under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1 and subject to enhanced DBS checks.
