Trustee (Voluntary)

Women’s Aid Leicestershire is looking for new Trustees to join our strong, diverse and vibrant Board.

Professionals with a non-profit, HR, Financial or Business background would be desirable, but we would welcome applications from individuals with other work backgrounds who have the enthusiasm to volunteer in a vital not-for-profit organisation.

Training in the sector and role is provided to build your confidence in the role. You will be required to attend a quarterly in-person meeting, held on a weekday evening in Leicester, plus an annual ‘away day’ held on a Saturday. There will also be occasional events, talks or online meetings.

This opening will provide you with the opportunity to develop and build on your current management experience and you will be contributing to the work of an organisation which makes a real difference to the lives of women, men and children in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
