Women’s Aid Leicestershire were delighted to welcome so many new and familiar faces at our annual Spring Fundraising Lunch held on Friday 9 February. Taste restaurant delivered a delicious three-course meal which was enjoyed by all, and we were honoured to have been joined by keynote speaker, Councillor Dr Susan Barton, the Lord Mayor of Leicester, who delivered a poignant talk on female pioneers and pathways into public life in turn-of-the 20th Century Leicester.
The lunch was a great success and raised vital funds to support the continued running of our refuge accommodation and support services. Thank you to all who came and supported us.
